Tuning of an Optofluidic Micro Ring Resonator by Electrowetting

Abstract

We demonstrate the tuning of an on chip Micro Ring Resonator (MRR) using water based droplet driven by electrowetting. The results show that optofluidic devices can be controlled by electrical signal.
