Abstract

We demonstrate 10-Gbit/s all-optical clock recovery using the temporal Talbot effect in single-mode fibers with subsequent optical pulse injection into an SOA-based fiber ring laser. The clear clock is recovered from 231−1 PRBS optical pulses.
