Abstract

Asymmetric directional couplers were written inside bulk borosilicate glass by a high repetition rate femtosecond laser. Wavelength-dependent coupling ratios were tuned by laser exposure and coupler geometry, yielding flattened spectral response (±5%) over >400-nm bandwidth.
