Passively mode-locked 10 GHz femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser with >1 mW of power per frequency comb mode

Abstract

We report a mode-locked Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser emitting 42fs pulses at 10GHz repetition rate. The emitted frequency comb is resolved with a grating spectrometer. The power per mode exceeds 1mW at an average power >1W.
