Phase Matching using Ridge Bragg Reflection Waveguides

Abstract

Ridge Bragg Reflection Waveguides are used to phase-match second harmonic generation at 1600 nm. Exact phase-matching bandwidth of 4.5 nm with an internal conversion efficiency of 8.6 %/W is obtained.
