Pulsed Raman Conversion to 2.14 µm by means of a Thulium-doped Fiber Laser and a GeO2 Fiber

Abstract

Pulsed Raman conversion to 2.14 µm is reported. Peak Stokes power of 210 W (400 mW average) at 30 kHz with a slope efficiency of 62 % in a GeO2-doped fiber is demonstrated.
