Bi2O3-based fiber for highly nonlinear applications

Abstract

We have fabricated Bi2O3-based microstructured fiber using a novel method. It was experimentally revealed that this fiber shows nonlinearlity ~ 780 W−1km−1 and GVD ~ -25 ps/nm/km simultaneously.
