Prism-Coupled Silica Micro-tube Resonator as a Bio-sensor

Abstract

Prism coupled silica micro-tubes were studied as optical bio-sensing elements. We demonstrated to sense the glucose concentration change in the micro-tube and the smallest concentration change can be detected in our system is 0.3 mM.
