Abstract

We demonstrate polarization-insensitive wavelength conversion of 10-Gb/s DPSK signal using a polarization-diversity scheme for four-wave mixing in 32-cm bismuth-oxide highly nonlinear fiber. The polarization dependence is <1 dB and the power penalty is 3 dB.
