Delay Lines with Tailored High Dispersion Orders for Periodic Optical Pulses

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate that uniform fiber Bragg gratings or waveguides with a splitter/combiner producing properly delayed and phase-shifted replicas of a periodic pulse train can serve as delay lines with arbitrary high dispersion orders.
