Multi-Electron Dynamics in Ultrafast Laser Atom Interactions

Abstract

Momentum distributions of triply up-to 7-fold ionized Neon and Argon produced in intense (up-to 20 PW/cm2) few-cycle laser pulses have been measured. The results reveal different ionization mechanisms are active depending on the target atom.
