Abstract

An intense comb-shaped phonon-plariton Raman spectra were obtained from a two-dimensional nonlinear χ(2) photonic crystal – a hexagonally poled LiTaO3 crystal. The work presents a novel method to study the inelastic scattering in a nonlinear medium.
