Brewster-angle chirped mirrors for broadband pulse compression without dispersion oscillations

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a novel generation of chirped mirrors, resulting in the compression of extremely clean 5.6-fs pulses from a noncollinear optical parametric amplifier. These mirrors display much smaller phase ripple than previous design approaches.
