Optical Sampling System Based on Gain-Switched Laser with Pulsed Photon Injection

Abstract

We use a novel semiconductor laser system with variable repetition rate for optical sampling. Our results show the ability to synchronise to and characterise different types of lasers with arbitrary repetition rate.
