Polarization-Independent, Frequency-Detuning Tolerant Scheme for Pulse Rate Multiplication Using Spectral Elimination with a Birefringence Loop Mirror Filter

Abstract

We demonstrate simultaneous repetition rate multiplication of pulses at different wavelengths using the spectral elimination approach. With a polarization independent Sagnac comb filter, the unwanted spectral components have been suppressed by over 23 dB.
