14-nJ Pulses from a Femtosecond Yb Fiber Laser

Abstract

Chirped pulses with energies up to 14 nJ are generated by Yb fiber oscillators. These are dechirped to ~100 fs duration. The pulse energy and peak power are the highest produced by short-pulse fiber oscillators.
