Optical regenerative amplifier based on parametric amplification of femtosecond chirped laser pulse

Abstract

A regenerative amplifier based on parametric amplification of a chirped femtosecond signal pulse and pumped by a nanosecond frequency doubled Q-switched Nd :YAG laser is demonstrated. The amplified signal pulses are bandwidth limited.
