Adaptive Optical Coherence-Domain Reflectometry Using InGaAs Quantum Wells

Abstract

We demonstrate the possibility to use an InGaAs/GaAs quantum well as an adaptive beam combiner in optical coherence-domain reflectometry (OCDR). The insensitivity of the quantum well to environmental vibrations is compared to that of a non-adaptive system.
