Monolithic Integration of Distributed Traveling-Wave Photodetectors with Polymer Optical Waveguide

Abstract

We have proposed and demonstrated monolithic distributed MSM photodetectors with polymer optical waveguide. The responsivity of 0.45 A/W is achieved using leaky wave coupling from BCB polymer waveguide to MSM photodetector.
