Improving Content-addressability in a Holographic Database Using New Input Modulation Schemes

Abstract

We demonstrate a new modulation scheme for inputting datapages in content-addressable holographic memories. A modified 8:12 balanced-modulation code to address coding subtleties with phase-based schemes is introduced. This technique enhances discrimination capability while content-addressing.
