Enhancement of FDOCT Imaging Range by Sub-Pixel Spectral Shifting

Abstract

Spectral shifting increases the axial image range of Fourier Domain Optical Coherence Tomography. Second measurement of the spectral interference after shifting by one-half pixel doubles the imaging range and increases the signal to noise ratio.
