Focusing coherent XUV light to micron spot size with an intensity of 1014 W/cm2

Abstract

We have observed focal spots of intense coherent XUV light based on high-order harmonic generation. The focused intensity in excess of 1014 W/cm2 was successfully achieved at 30 nm.
