High resolution Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy

Abstract

Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is applied to measure crystal orientation dependant absorption of benzoic acid at frequencies below 5 THz. A high frequency resolution is achieved for the system with a chromium coated GaP electro-optic detector.
