Abstract

We demonstrate error-free operation of 4 simultaneous users in a fast frequency-hopping time-spreading OCDMA system at 2.5Gbps. Effective power penalty was ≤0.5dB. Ultrafast all optical sampling gate was used to eliminate multiple access interference.
