Abstract

We propose a novel non-uniform spectral coding scheme in an Optical-CDMA system that utilizes Spectral Phase EnCoded Time-Spreading (SPECTS). The new method achieves lower multi-user-interference and twice network capacity for Gaussian spectral shape optical pulses.
