Deep-notch and ultra-compact long-period grating in large-mode-area photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

A strong resonance and ultra-compact long-period grating is fabricated in large-mode-area photonic crystal fiber with LP01 notch of −31.5dB at wavelength of 1529.2nm, and 8 periodic collapse within 2.8-mm-long of fiber by using CO2 laser.
