Volume holographic profilometry surface reconstruction with the Viterbi algorithm

Abstract

We describe image blur in volume holographic profilometry as inter-symbol interference and apply the Viterbi algorithm to clean up the image and reconstruct the surface with high accuracy. We also demonstrate the use of surface constraints to reduce computational complexity.
