Phase measurement of periodic optical pulses using the temporal fractional Talbot effect

Abstract

A novel method of time domain interferometry using the fractional Talbot effect is proposed for pulse phase measurement. The advantage of this method is the stability of the interference pattern and insensitivity to environmental influences.
