Polarization and Temperature-tolerant Wavelength-locked WDM Source with External ASE Injection

Abstract

We propose a novel optical source for WDM transmission using two polarization-multiplexed low-cost Fabry-Perot LDs with external ASE injection. The proposed source shows high power, low noise and the polarization and temperature tolerance.
