GDD-matched sum-frequency generation for the indirect phase control of sub-20-fs pulses in the deep ultraviolet region

Abstract

We have demonstrated a novel scheme of sum-frequency generation with a sufficiently broad spectrum to be transformed to a sub-20-fs pulse in the deep ultraviolet region (256 nm) by achieving the group-delay-dispersion matching condition.
