Quasi-end-fired laser operation from waveguided DFB plastic dye lasers for fiber-top tunable laser

Abstract

A novel pumping scheme quasi-end-firing (QEF) was proposed and demonstrated for waveguided DFB tunable fiber-top dye laser. QEF-DFB laser array has been fabricated and the QEFed-DFB laser operation was confirmed for first time.
