Abstract

We have demonstrated for the first time quasi-Doppler frequency shift of optical pulses by 25 GHz in traveling-wave electro-optic polymer phase modulator in a single pass configuration. Frequency shifts up to several terahertz are achievable with conversion efficiency close to unity.
