Diode-pumped passively mode-locked multi-watt Nd:GdVO4 Laser with a Saturable Bragg Reflector

Abstract

We report a continuous-wave passively mode-locked Nd:GdVO4 laser with pulse width of 9.2 ps at a repetition rate of 120 MHz. Up to 5.4 W of average power was realized with a slop efficiency of 25.7%.
