Abstract

Space Charge Waves (SCW) may be generated in a material with large mobility-lifetime product in the presence of electric field.1 When excited with the light fringes the SCW may give rise to such exciting phenomena like spatial subharmonics generation2 and/or resonant photorefractive wave coupling3 The SCW can be excited under homogeneous illumination, too.4,5
