Abstract

Surface relief gratings in both resonant and subwavelength domain1 present interesting polarization properties. The phase of the diffracted orders, in deep relief gratings, depends on the polarization and on the grating parameters. In this paper we propose the use of a two-wave mixing experiment to measure the phase difference between the first and the zero diffracted orders of holographic relief gratings.
