Abstract
Experiments indicate that thick orientation-patterned (OP) GaAs1,2 will be useful for a variety of quasi-phase-matched (QPM) nonlinear interactions in the mid- to near-infrared.1,3 The temperature dependence of the quasi-phase-matching condition is an important parameter that determines tuning ranges and rates, as well as thermal stabilization requirements and absorption-limited optical performance in practical systems.
