Abstract

One-dimensional periodically poled structures provide Quasi-Phase-Matched (QPM) devices which generate various kinds of light sources by nonlinear interactions such as second-harmonic generation, sum-frequency generation, and difference-frequency generation (DFG). t New nonlinear photonic devices with two-dimensional periodically poled structures have been proposed. 2 All these devices with a complicated domain structure require precise domain control.
