Abstract

Barium tungstate crystal was recently developed as a new promising nonlinear material for crystalline nano- and picosecond Raman lasers.1,2 Doping this crystal with Nd3+ ions could allow to use it as a laser active element and a nonlinear Raman medium simultaneously.
