Abstract

Non-linear time-resolved spectroscopy on vibrational modes in molecules has been a rapidly evolving field of research in the last few years due to the growing availability of high-quality ultrafast mid-infrared laser sources. Such sources are for example Ti:Sapphire-pumped optical parametric generators-/amplifiers, as well as highly tunable free-electron lasers (FELs).
