Abstract
Recent experiments on dusters irradiated by strong laser pulses (intensity I > 1011 W/cnr) have revealed several phenomena not previously encountered in experiments on atoms and small molecules: the generation of highly charged atomic ions (ionic charge q > 30e, with e the elementary charge) l−6
