Abstract
Hybrid wavelength-division-multiplexing (HWDM) systems, capable of carrying inhomogeneous signal formats among different wavelength channels, are attractive to provide flexible and cost-effective capacity growth in the current fiber optical network for multimedia transport applications.1,2
