Abstract

We have demonstrated experimentally the feasibility of measurement of the speed of motion of a transparent (nonreflecting and nonscattering) medium moving transversally to the laser beam, with accuracy better than 1 mµ/s, and with spatial resolution of the order 100 µ.m.
