Abstract

The 60-beam, 40-kJ (UV) OMEGA laser system for IGF experiments consists of a master oscillator, a pulse-shaping system,¹ a regenerative amplifier (regen), a large-aperture regenerative amplifier (LARA), rod and disk amplifier chains, and frequency converters.
