Abstract

In recent years, various attempts have been made to image objects buried in or behind highly scattering medium. The reported time-resolved methods, frequency-domain methods, and coherent detection methods1,2 mechanically scan the samples to reconstruct two-dimensional or tomographic images. A nonscanning method, using a short coherence laser is also reported for optical imaging of scattering media.3
