Abstract

Recent technological advances have enabled the application of optical diagnostic techniques to human tissue and has suggested application of optical spectroscopy to a variety of biomedical problems. This work is a preliminary investigation of detection and monitoring of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) leakage in human breast tissue using Raman spectroscopy.
