Abstract

As was demonstrated recently,1,2 optical parametric amplification (OPA) of white light preserves the phase properties of the white-light continuum. Pulses as short as 30 fs can be generated via amplification and compression. The energy of these pulses was limited to several μJ in the visible and nj energies in the mid-IR range.3
