Abstract
There is a growing interest in laser-based analytical techniques for remote or in situ trace detection of NOx (NO + NO2) pollutants.1 Much of this interest stems from concerns related to the public health and the environment. The detection of these species is also important in photo-fragmentation/fragment detection techniques being developed for the chemical analysis of energetic materials.2,3
