Abstract
One of the most important and distinguishing features of copper-vapor lasers (CVLs) is their high-repetition-rate (multikilohertz) capability. This high-pulse-rate capability, in association with their visible output wavelengths and high average powers, makes CVLs ideal candidates for applications such as high-speed stroboscopic photography1 and video simulation.2
