Abstract

The Raman shifting of a KrF laser in hydrogen and deuterium is widely used in ozone lidar sounding.1. The results of investigations of injection-locked KrF-laser Raman conversion in hydrogen2 demonstrate that the injection-locking mode allows realization of cascade Raman scattering and an increase in the conversion efficiency to the second Stokes order.
