Abstract
We present results on a β-BaB2O4 (BBO) optical parametric oscillator in a grazing-incidence cavity configuration (GIOPO) that is pumped at 355 nm. Two BBO crystals, in a walk-off compensated configuration, are implemented in the cavity to increase the gain.1 The cavity consists of a back mirror (HR at 633 nm, HT at 355 nm), a grating (2400 I/mm) and a tuning mirror, see Fig. 1. The cavity is pumped through the back mirror, and a high reflector (HR at 355 nm) is placed in the cavity to prevent damage to the grating. The cavity length in this setup is 12 cm.
